Habitation door retainer on Autosleeper Stanton

I'm sure this has been covered many times before but what is the best Hab door retainer, mine just blew back and busted with the metal strip which seems less than useless, broken . I may add this was in a hefty gale in Glen Coe.


The Edinburgh trip sounds good value , I live in Edinburgh so don't need accomodation !!

There are many sorts and none are great. A suitable bungee cord is inelegant but seems to work the best.

That differs from one motorhome to another. There's usually somewhere it can be hooked on the door and elsewhere.

I use a piece of paracord tied between the handle and the wing mirror.
