These are coming away at the bottom, and become a trip hazard every so often. I must have tried every glue under the sun to stick them back down, but they keep rising. Any ideas on how to stick them down and keep them stuck down? The surface that they should be attached to is painted metal.

Thanks in advance.

Can it be removed, glued and the rotated so that the bottom section isn’t the glued part.

Have same issue with my habdoor seal and it’s my planned task 👍🏻

It's a good question, and in the past I have asked the same thing.

I was told, by someone vastly more experienced than me, that the 'join' has to be at the bottom, so that any moisture ingress from the seal can drain away. However, although I could see the logic, I am not sure that there is really enough moisture to make this a reason. However again, damp and motorhomes are a bad mix.

Sounds likely. Think if that’s the case, I’ll rotate mine and make another join (ie cut) mine at the bottom. The old join can be glued along with the wear/split and hopefully it’ll last another 18 years 👍🏻
