HAB check

Morning Funsters
Picked up our new to us 21 plate Kia 67 yesterday, it came with a new HAB check this was done by an independent inspector, will this effect the Mobilvetta water ingress warranty because it wasn’t done by Marquis, did notice it was half the price and very in-depth

Unless Mobil. specifically allow it then yes you won't have a warranty anymore for anything (unless it was from a dealer offering their own). Sorry.

Very in-depth is apt for a damp check

You will need to check with Mobilvetta they are the only ones that can give you a definitive answer. I wouldn't trust info you get from Marquis, the NCC scheme as far as I'm aware only applies to Brit built vans.

The same qualifications as the techies at Marquis I expect. But Marquis essentially own the brand here so if they say your check is invalid, you've nowhere to go and will have to swallow.

Our EuroMobil, we just have to submit the report annually. They are happy if it NCC.

Suggest you contact Mobiletta direct and ask the question.

No need to despair yet, if it is within 12 months of the last qualifying check then presumably you can book it into Marquis and keep the warranty intact?
