Hab aircon

Where's the best place to get hab aircon fitted in north yorks or nearest place - any info gratefully received.

No idea where the best place is to get fitted, but seriously consider if you will use it, we have had our van nearly 5 years, and probably only used half a dozen times, as it really needs ehu to work, is noisy so can't be used at night, and for us the worse thing is we lose a roof vent, which in turn makes the van warmer when we can't use it, we now use usb fans which are quiet, and move just enough air to provide a cooling effect.

Do you go abroad much? I'm considering getting A/C for when I retire, hopefully not too far away now. Are they all too noisy to use at night?

We do but tend to stay on aires where there is no hookup, not sure if it is just ours but no way could I sleep with it running, fans are much quieter.

I was reading here just yesterday of one site that would only let you run your ac between 9 and 10 at night and they policed it!

Met a couple yesterday that they had had people banging on their van door at 1 in the morning telling them to turn the bloody thing off!
