Yeah - I know.
Dumb question probably.
One of my headlight bulbs blew. No biggie. Spare bulb inserted and working from some el-cheapo kit that was part of a 'EU compliance' kit bought over a decade ago.
No idea if modern vehicles are the same as older ones were - but back when I drove cars (pre millennium!) it was considered good practice to swap both headlight bulbs if one went.
Now - I know that what I need is an H7, that's not really difficult. However, I've always had people flash me since I got the Relay and I've turned the angle of beam right down as low as it can go.
I strongly suspect that the previous owner put in some of those obnoxious bulbs that blind people and I'd like to not do that with my replacements.
A quick search to find out what the OEM part was turned up a part number (621697) and a price close to £20 each
No thanks.
So - does anyone know of something closed to OEM (i.e. good quality but not a 'super bright' oncoming traffic dazzler) - or should I just buy a bulk pack of 'el-cheapo' and be done with it?
