hi going to a site in France that's more or less on the beach ,,i have bought a few ground sheets to stop all the sand getting inside ,but they dont seem to be that good , is there a better one ,,that more experienced campers use ,,thanks

You'll never stop sand getting inside, just embrace it and a good vac when home.
Taking the carpets out will make for an easier time

We have the full width open weave Fiamma patio mat under the wind out awning and that does a reasonable job of keeping the sand and grit at bay.

Check Aldi/lidl websites for their camping events, full length woven ground sheet, washable for about £20 usually in the springtime offers

You don't say what sort of ground sheet you currently use whan asking for a better one.
Take your shoes off before entering the motorhome may perhaps help.
I took my carpets out (they're in the loft), making a sweep out an easy job. I've also got an old towel on the floor just inside the hab door essentially to trap detritus from the dogs paws.

Ours is a 5mm thick foam thing, it's waterproof and very lightweight and comfortable under bare foot. Definitely needs pegging down though. Was €18 in the Benidorm Chinese shop but I suppose ebay will sell them 👍
