I turn the pump on and theres an instant gushing of water from the rear quarter, so something is amiss. I carefully dismantle the tip up sink unit and even more carefully peer inside.
The problem is obvious; the red plug in to the mixer tap has come adrift. An easy fix. But no. No sooner have I reattached everything and turn the pump on then we get the gushing of water. So something more is in need of investigation.
I take the panel off, and pull out the blue [cold] push-fit. It takes some doing. At that point I notice that the only difference is that there is a grommet on the blue pipe- but not on the red. So there's the problem. An easy fix.

If you can find a grommet.

A call at the local caravan shop elicits a 'what's a grommet' response from the pimply youth behind the counter. No joy there. The local plumbers- 'bloody hell that's tiny' so no luck. Am now down to ebay. No joy [yet] and I'm due to be away at the middle of next week.

So Funsters - any suggestions/links/comments/handy spares?

A picture of the area, one also of the blue pipe fitting, especially the grommet.
Have you grovelled about looking for the old one. It must have worked once.
If it is an o ring then you can get boxes of assorted o rings you should be able to match .

I have a box of assorted O rings. The storage box is split in two halves. If you open the box the wrong way they fly out, mix and go everywhere { so I have been told }

If talking about red and blue spigots under tap, they should both have ’o’ rings but also should be held in with a pin.
