Hi

I've been cleaning the water tank - Puriclean - which has meant a few fills and empties and whilst I don't mind the two bucket under the motorhome I wondered if anyone knew which connector went on the pipe so that I might consider going over the grate which I cant perfectly get on hence the pipe fitting request.

Its a 1993 Hymer - B544.

Thanks
Jo

Wonder how original it all is or has someone been there before and made a few changes. We have an extension pipe for the Laika. 50mm pushes on over the outlet. Made a 50mm to 25mm adaptor for the other end so I can connect a longer pipe and plumb ourselves in if we are staying for some time.

Hi All

Firstly thank you for all your replies.

Just so you know whenever I post I try to do a bit of research on my query to see if I can self sort or have to ask you guys.

Couplings however not really my thing and when I look at the above there are so many different ones and places you can get from agricultural to hose people etc.

So on Wednesday I was doing just that on something totally unrelated. Happened to be watching a YouTube video of a Hymer like mine but a Mercedes one and this guy is going through the features as they rent them. Low and behold he opened the rear bumper end and pulled out a long pipe for disposing of water if you cant get to grate. Now this Mercedes was exactly mine even down to the K plate. Wanted to look asap but its been raining quite a bit but I've just gone out and I have the same long pipe and connecting coupling (width of the bumper).

I'm sorry to have put you to the trouble but as always I'm grateful for the replies. I have to say its not the first time I've found something new about my oldie but goodie motorhome by watching a video. Learning all the time...…(y) …….loads more to learn (y)

Thanks
Jo

That looks like a coupling used on compressors. Never seen one on a MoHo.

Craig
RMBs have them, its a standard twist lock connector widely used in industry for air and water hose couplings.
