Morning, last week whilst away, something hit underneath our motorhome that must have flown off a vehicle coming the other way. It's sheared off the whole tap to drain the grey waste. I've done a search online bit there seem to be so many without a specific one for our MH. It's a 2004 Rapido 786f. I've attached a pic of the bit that tap fits into. So the white circle is what remain of the tap!
Help very much appreciated, thank you.

Brain is still in holiday mode - just waiting to hear back from Brownhills on the part. I'm assuming it'll be most of the bits in the photos rather than just a tap.

Looks like a standard screw fitting that you could fit any number of things too, so you probably have options for the actual tap if you can’t get hold of the original equipment.

Lots of folk fit a 12v tap or a macerator pump in place of this valve.

I’m just about to do just that.

Makes life a bit easier!

I also hit something last year and decided to alter the set-up from cable operated valve to an external ball valve. Biggest problem was getting correct size of pipe. Used cheap micrometer and found supplier of all bits. Much better than original system.

Same happened to me....

Tried to get a handle or identical gate valve... Silly money....

Ended up buying all all the bits I would need from an aquarium supplies on Ebay including the PVC glue for about £35.

Moved the tap to a slightly more accessible position

Finest Filters was the seller on Ebay.

You need to measure the pipe diameter and then just get a tap which looks as much like yours as possible. The pipe diameter is the critical bit and might be in mm or inches. If it is exactly an imperial measurement like 1" then assume imperial. If it measures say 15/16ths" then assume 25mm. :)

Thanks for your replies. It's been tricky to get the right part presumably due to the age. Brownhills have been really helpful but in spite of sending lots of photos to them I'm not convinced the part they are saying we need is correct, Looking at their pic and of course it's nearly £80!!
Where the tap has sheared off, it obviously attached to a part inside the pipe the swivels and opens and closes. Hubby is going to see if he can make something up for the moment - he's quite handy with plumbing so hopefully he can do it. Thanks again.
