enough to know i shouldnt touch things i know nothing about ....
Lovely little CCP site, it was originally a municipal camp site and is immaculately kept. There is a sports facility next to it with tennis courts, football and rugby pitches PLUS an open air swimming pool which looks to be solar heated looking at all the black tubing laid out along side it, not open yet but it's €3 per person (don't know long for though). Probably need a tap adapter if filling on your plot but really it's a watering can jobbie as you have to push and hold the top down, so not really suitable for anything more than a few litres at a time. There is a decent water supply at the cassette emptying point with what looks like a 3/4 or 1 inch BSP thread
Currently it's €12.58 for the night including EHU.

If you drive past the site entrance for about 50 yards, there are quite a few free park up places alongside the river

update .... just tried the sat dish (because sitting in the sun all day makes me bored!) and it picks up Astra2 28.2 on a Telstar 85cm dish with autoskew - i am not advocating that sat tv is the way to go, im just passing on information re whether the signal can be recieved or not.

i dont know what channels are actually available though .....

Good spot - thanks for the info. Would a cable tie work to hold down the push-to-operate tap? I’ve used it successfully before.

PS. What’s the river like for swimming there?

It’s a great little site and when the toilet blocks open it has great showers. Very good value

i think a cable tie or a velcro strap would work, there are signs saying no swimming .... there is a kayak/canoe hire place in the town, just near the bridge opposite the church.

I've just tried a velcro strap that came in a set from Amazon - works perfectly, so I'm sure a cable tie would be just as effective.
