Hate to say this but I ditched id mobile last month due to desperately poor network coverage

Ah well, we’re going to give them a go.
I stuck it for a year or so but my wife on O2 had much better coverage. I've now swapped to libara on vodaphones network as they were a lot cheaper than O2 and nearly as cheap as I'd but it's only on a months contract so might swap again if they're not too good. We're just outside Whitby so coverage could well be better in a more urban setting.

I did do a coverage checker and it looked no better or worse than Vodafone who we are with at present.

I've got 2 Id sims. Had one for over 3 years, no problems. They're using EE's network are they not?

Sounds great until I saw it was ID which uses Three not a company I would ever use again.

I’ve been with 3 before and can’t say if it was better or worse, time will tell but the stupid DPD driver didn’t make a great effort to deliver our sim’s tonight. I was sitting in our lounge with the curtains open and next thing I got a message saying they failed to deliver, if he had just shown himself at the window I could have had them tonight. Now he’s going to have to come back tomorrow, stupid fool. 😡

On reflection I think they may use different carriers for different products, some 3, some EE.

No, id is definitely using 3. I would have preferred EE but their prices are stupid.
