Looking back at a trip I did, I noticed the top speed is stated as 130mph. As this was in the motorhome, I plead it is not possible! Could this be due to a temporary loss of GPS signal throwing the speed calculation out? It also suggests I got to 37 feet below sea level but this trip did not include going through the conwy tunnel so maybe the map data is corrupt? Any ideas??

Bloody hooligans.
Sorry . I was actually trying to minimise fuel usage on this trip to see what I could achieve.

I have not had the engine remapped or had go-faster gas in the tyres or had nitrous injection fitted.

Not even had oxygen supply added for the parts below sea level.

On a lunatic tangent. I once put a Satnav on my bike at Bedford Aerodrome.

It showed 186. Blimey.

If on the GT circuit the long straight heading out to the far end of the circuit ain’t short, so not too surprised by that number. I’ve had 172 168 (GPS video data) in my old Golf track car down there. 🤣

Edit: sorry adjusted for overstated figure! 🤪

It didn't seem fast until the corners arrived rather quickly. Eventually got the braking marker down to under 200m.

Yep that left handed at end of the straight is a little tighter than you think isn’t it!!! 🤣

We were instructors for MSV and first time bikes had been there.
So car instructor took us out in fancy BMW thingy, trying to show off. (Nobber)

Not quick, but the brakes were impressive 👏

Any tunnels on your trip or heavy tree cover?
If the satnav tempoarly lost and regained satellites a spike is often a result.
Edit: or tall buildings in a built up area 👍🏻
Anything that can obscure line of sight signals…

The error on GPS measurement is a few metres at best and can be tens of metres with a poor signal and reflections off nearby buildings. If one reading underestimated how far you'd been and the next over estimated, then your calculated speed will be over. When it's sometimes updating as little as every second, with an error of a few metres, it's quite easy to get silly calculation results for short periods of time.

Generally what satnavs present on screen is a very heavily filtered version of the data it's receiving with lots of intelligent snapping to the line of the road. Or it'd look like you're meandering all over the place.

The heavy tree cover could well be the answer - thanks. I was just curious to what the causes could be
