Google Street View via Google Maps not working.

I was looking at a map yesterday on Google Maps, I looked on the Sat view, then on Street View It was fine.

This morning I can get onto Google Maps but not onto Streetview I am on home broadband. I have 2 ipads and have tried both, I have also used my phone as a hot spot, still no joy.

If I use my iPhone alls fine, it works via my home broadband and my Three data.

I have turned things off and back on, other that that I have no idea.

Any thoughts please.
 
Just Google restricting access forcing you to eventually pay I expect or Apple restricting things,your i pad and phone will be different because they are probably on different versions! However if you put in a route in on your i pad you can access street view from the route 👍

What happens when you tap on the overlay icon, do you get a list of different views?

Are you using google maps app or web? Found that if it does not show on one it will show on the other

I’m not sure what you mean, but if it’s the circle with a triangle and an arrow then yes, I get an option of Default, Satellite and Terrain. If I click on Satellite it goes to Satillite view, normally I then put my finger on the screen and I get street view. Lots of roads it doesn’t work as they are too small, but right now it won’t work on main roads.
 
I am on google maps on my laptop and I normally left-click on any road and it gives street view but now it won't the only way I can get street view is to drag the little man in the bottom left to the road I want street view on

On mine I get map type with default, satellite and terrain, then below that I get map details one of which is street view.

Even my little man has vanished, obviously he’s lost as his street view isn’t working😀

I don’t get that on my old iPad, but just tried it on the newer one. I found the Street View icon on it. It changed the roads to blue, when I put my finger on a road I got my usual red dot and the dropped pin details but no street view.
 
On my chromebook I have Maps and Google Maps....they are quite different in their format and one will run street view instantly the other needs a few options selecting. o_O
 
Stupid question. Youre not searching in Germany are you ?
 
Same here, this happened a few months ago and I think I posted on here at the time about it. Then a few days later it all appeared again. Hope fully it comes back soon. (y)

I have used Google maps for years with no problems. I love street view, we are house hunting and it’s great to see the local areas. As it was working last night I thought that I had maybe pressed a button by mistake, but it’s not working on either iPad.

No problems using Streetview for me on a PC although I do notice now if you search for a UK Post Code you get an outline of the Post Code area on the map which I've not noticed before. I don't know if that works the same for other countries.
 
I have the same problem on my iPad Pro, it’s happened before and the pad had an update today it usually comes back after a few days when Google catches up with the update…😎
 
I thought more likely to be a problem in Austria as I heard a rumour years ago that dash cams were banned there (y)
