For anyone contemplating visiting Morocco, we had picked up varying reports of Google Maps working/not working in Morocco before we went. We are now in Morocco and can confirm that Google Maps work perfectly, complete with spoken directions using a Moroccan SIM card in the phone. WAZE maps download is also good, but our £600 Garmin doesn't work.

As I thought, price is over 90 euros, which is bit too rich for me, although I readily admit, it would be nice to have.
Not sure where you found that,

Have downloaded Morroco maps from Google as we're going over tomorrow. Also can you tell me if Waze has width/height measures as Google doesn't and we get worried about being sent down narrow streets.

We used the xgody Chinese sat navs at around £50 each with free map updates including morocco which we found to be surprisingly accurate even in the middle of nowhere.
If your using Google maps just be sure you keep your phone charged .

We're in Morocco and we use Google maps and Waze, neither of which allow for vehicle dimensions or weight. However, we have found no narrow roads other than side streets in towns, which you wouldn't try to use anyway. We are avoiding motorways so we can see more of rural Morocco and have yet to see any narrow roads. We had similar concerns as you, but the city roads are wide enough to land a 747. I always think that if the buses can go, so can I. There are some tired roads that will test your suspension but nowt to be worried about. Morocco is far more modern than we expected and very friendly and cheap.

Just downloading this and the Morocco map so we can use it offline. Have set up our motorhome dimensions too! Result. Great heads up!

Yes, on the truck profile.

You can also add your own POI's which I find useful.
