Good old Ducato airbag ecu.

I am buying a new one. Has anyone identified the means of identifying those made after the dodgy batch.i understand the "later" ones are relatively trouble free but have not seen any specific dates or serial numbers to tell me if I am buying one after the cut off date for the dodgy ones.
As ever, apologies if this has already been clarified by someone cleverer than me. Sort of happy to fork out the £300 or so but would really like to be as sure as I can that I'm getting a good one. Don't want to tempt fate but down in sussex it's 20 with bright

The new ecu’s are far superior to the older ones. We replaced ours last year. They have a year of manufacture on them. Ours is 2023. We have had no problems since.
