Bought a 2008 apache 2nd hand many moons ago still very happy with it except for one thing carpet was laid right across floor then all the units built on top of the carpet which is showing signs of aging and cleaning is a pain any suggestions?

Cut it all out around all the units with a very sharp blade, carefully, as this will then form your template for either a new single piece of removable carpet, or you could make perhaps 2 or 3 smaller pieces, cut across the templates piece, get the edges bound and fit press studs to the floor and the corners of your carpets, and then you would have removable sections.
Or, if your floor is linoleum coveted under the carpet fitted now and in good knick, just get loose coverings with a non- slip backing.
Our carpets had a lovely wooden effect linoleum covering underneath, so the old carpet was discarded, and it's a doddle to wipe clean or dry the Linoleum when the weather is wet and muddy, and we just wear slippers when inside.
