Whit the price of a beer in a French bar I can't see it making much difference.

What I didn't get was there are only 36,000 bars in France according to that report

The new law eases restriction on licences to sell spirits over 18% which is currently a question of "dead men's shoes". Licences for beer and wine are more readily obtainable.

P.S. I like the concept of a pop-up bistro. Just as Friday night used to be about joining the fish and chip shop queue another night can become bistro van night!!
