2000 peugeot boxer auto sleeper ,can not get the gear knob off ,some post say just pull it off but will not move many thanks Rob

am assuming you’ve tried unscrewing a few times to loosen?

Don't know this model, but is there a grub screw underneath the knob?

Dont think it unscrews as it needs to see the splines for reverse when you pull the collar up to engage gear?
It is a ball underneath. And its tight! Perseverance is the answer!
