just looking
We’re planning on getting a Fiat Ducato van conversion.
Any ideas how we could store 2 bikes and 2 small sets of golf clubs and bags on the back please?

If this is a straight panel van conversion, then you can get a two bike rack that fits to the back door. About 35kg is the max loading though. If you want to hold more than this, you'll likely have to go for a tow bar bike rack, you can buy swing-away ones so you can get to the back doors, but you need plenty of space behind to do this and it can become a bit of a pain.

It could be worth considering a small coachbuilt van with a garage, then you might be able to keep bikes and clubs inside.

Best of luck in your search and welcome to the fun (y)

If you go the tow bar route an Altera Strada 3 bike rack will work, a member was advertising one here at a bargain price of £250 the other week. I paid £400 for mine new. There are some threads showing this rack and talking about the adjustments needed to the mount.

We have a tow bar bike rack. Do you think we would be able to fit a box above it to put golf clubs in?

Knowing the weight of 2 sets of clubs, I would not add their weight to bikes on a door mounted rack, even if you could obtain the accessory you want. We were cautioned against door mounted racks for 2 bikes by our supplying MH dealer, although I know many people use them successfully.
