Hi, can anyone help. I am looking for the best route from dijon to Genoa but i don't know how to tackle the mountains in between at this time of year. I want to avoid any snow so consider going round or am i better off taking a tunnel, ifso which one?

We will be travelling at the beginning of April and returning at the end of may.
I would also like to come back via a pass into Switzerland, as I think it should be clear of any snow and have great views.

Thanks for your thoughts, happy vanning.

I’d suggest due south from Dijon, turn left around Nice then Genoa is straight ahead. No mountains.
Collapsed bridge in Genoa has been rebuilt.
Absolutely, Nice, Monaco, Menton. Ventimiglia, sanremo, alassio, brilliant run.
