I like the idea of a CV in the Euro configuration of front lounge, Mid bog and shower and rear fixed higher level beds.
Various manufactuers seem to do a very similair thing, Adria, Carado, Globecar and there are others.
Globecar do have something slightly different in a fancy shower and bog door, you kind of have to see it, and I bet plenty of funsters have, so I will not try and describe. But this the van, https://www.outandaboutlive.co.uk/motorhomes/buyers-guide/motorhomes/details/campscout/8234

What I wondered is, does this screen/door combo last well. I tend to the KISS idea of Keep It Simple Stupid, and this does not seem simple.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Do you find it works well as a concept. After a shower is the gangway wet through. Is it better than a standard shower/bog with a door?

It works quite well but you do have to wipe the sliding doors and shower tray down after use, also you need to wipe the shower curtain down. I wouldn’t say that it’s better than a proper shower toilet door it’s a compromise really which we are happy with.

Hi You- It's me
Another advantage of the Globecar "across the aisle" doors is that it affords a bit of privacy if you want to change in the rear, and the front blinds/side door have already been opened

Ours is 3 year's plus now, and still working well. It has had it's shower floor replaced, the original had no structural form under it. Mel & Chris sortrd that in their ownership.

Is that a design flaw or a manufacturing error?

Construction error, structural form was not installed. The replacement , I understand, was carried out by the supplying dealer, and videoed, when the constructor saw the evidence, they refunded the cost to the owner.

Ours still works fine as well
Bottom channel needs cleaned out regularly though to keep it sliding smoothly
Bit more space than most PVC showers

Nomadic bought his Familyscout off us (Mel & Chris) which we had for over 3 years, as he mentioned the shower tray was replaced due to faulty installation but the actually tambour doors worked very well without any issues at all and no sign of wear, if not we wouldn't have bought a PVC with the same type of shower arrangement! :)
