We are working our way down the coast, eventually ending up in Lagos, Portugal for the 1st March (MCC rally ).

We are considering going to Gib for a day, staying in one of the camper contact places on the border(Spaniah side) and crossing on foot. Can we take our daft beagle and are there any issues that we should be aware of?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Nigel

We've stayed in the car park of the football club in La Linea (Real Balompédica Linense) Think it was €3 a night. There is a bar/restaurant at the football club which was very reasonably priced, and has internet access. You can walk into Gib (about 1.5 miles). We took the dog in one evening but she drove us barmy trying to kill every cat she saw. Take your passports and the dogs passport.

NB - We weren't there on match days by the way

We stayed at the marina right next to the border 12 euro I think it was. Great place to stay with view of the rock . Walked through with our dog and his passport and they weren't at all interested in him. Have a great time

In case this helps..
