Getting parts from Germany?

I've bought a Hymer with a motorbike rack (made in Germany) already fitted but I'm missing one of the clamp arms which goes from a channel across the back of the van to the bike.
The rack company tells me that the arm is still available but they will not ship to the UK since Brexit.
Does anyone know of a way around this please?

They can ship to the UK, I've bought from Germany recently. However, it is up to the company and some companies consider the paperwork too much hassle.

I can only suggest either arranging a holiday in Germany or if you prefer France find a Funster who lives there who will accept delivery.

You could ship to someone in EU, and then ask that person to ship it to you... at some point I wanted to buy something from the UK and was thinking to ask the forum if someone would do this for me ( I live in Switzerland), but then I decided not to buy... Anyway, I'm happy to help if you don't find someone in the EU, but shipping costs may be higher in/from Switzerland

We're in Spain and planning on spending a few days at Puerto de Mazarron from tomorrow, if you can get it shipped to a parcel locker somewhere round there we could collect it for you and bring it back to the UK in mid-Feb to post on to you.

Many thanks for the offers guys, it really is appreciated. I've emailed a couple of shipping co,s that have been suggested to me and will see what they say .

I've got a manual for the rack but it's with the van in storage. I'll photo it tomorrow and post. You never know, someone might know of a similar item.

Ahhhh Mazarron. Love the place. Wish I was there now cos it's chuffing freezing here!

I pick up stuff every time I go over.
You just need to get it delivered to a campsite or a friend.

I even have a .DE Amazon account with an Austrian address and attached to my €uro Starling account.
