Few years now
Looking at planning a trip in Sept to either Germany or Brittany.
I havent been to Germany in Sept for 30 years. For those who have been in the past few years what sort of weather did you experience?

I have to cash in my Tesco vouchers shortly before they revert to 2x value.
Their value would get me return crossings with decent cabins on the Harwich/ Hook Stenna route.
If do decide on that, ill probably head over to Germany in early Sept for 5 or 6 weeks. Thinking maybe a few weeks to get to Bavaria via Romantic Route then bimble back via Mosel. Though will remain fluid depends on what takes our fancy.

Sounds like a great plan, weather in September should be fine but as ever it can be very unpredictable, parts of Spain and Italy have had a very wet spring, other parts in drout conditions.
If Germany look wet, just head for Brittany 👍

Been a few times in September and always had decent weather, twice was to run the Berlin marathon which I got sunburned doing it. We visited Lake Constance area a couple of years ago beginning of September and only rained one day, the rest were the low 20s and sunny

Bit hit and miss, we were there last September and it was warm but not scorching some days tends to cool down a fair bit at night, year before near end of October one day shorts next day ice on the van🥶

If you don’t want to go to Germany in Sept just give us your tickets. It will be fabulous.
