George Forman grille

I have a small one for use with the inverter.

I find it quite useful though it’s a pain to clean. Much quicker than using a pan. 👍

Had the smaller one because so many raved over them. Used a couple of times, pain to clean. Cook burgers in a fry pan just as easily. Don’t eat toasties. It is now in the house at the back of a cupboard somewhere.

We have the large one and use it regularly for bbq's etc on the road. Moved from the cadac purely because I can use 'free' power to cook, whether on EHU or not and to reduce our gas dependency.

It's easy, clean but although it's the large version I don't think cooking for any more tgan four on it is practical, unless it a 'phased' meal, which I prefer anyway, just a bit at a time rather than it all piled on your plate at once!

With the deep fat fryer..numerous coffee machines..food mixer and other must have gadgets..BUSBY.

Thanks folks
Saved us time and frustration
Will keep looking for low power electric grill to use with our inverter/EHU.

Using ours today for peri-peri chicken as I couldn’t be bothered to fire up the Kamado. Not a bad piece of kit - it’s the standard sized one - but IIRC it was about half that price last year when on offer.

Best way to clean the grill is to use wet kitchen paper, put on when you finish cooking and it steams the muck off. May need 2 goes then rub with clean paper
