Had some work done at local garage and they recommended gearbox oil change which they couldn't do as it requires special equipment. Rong local fiat professional and they sounded bemused by my request stating they do clutch fluid replacement but gear oil change isn't something they do. Sounds like they don't see it as a requirement.????

Had the gearbox oil changed on my 2014 Boxer (Ford engine apparently). Got rid of a slight crunch going in to first and is, I think, a little quieter. Done without issue by a local garage who do a lot of Moho work.

Is it a comfortmatic?

What vehicle is it? Fiat is allegedly oil for life!

I changed ours at 10 years old, drained then refilled through the breather at the top.

Yes it is. It's 2019 automatic..
Hydraulic clutch fluid should be changed every 2 years. Fiat should do that at 2 year service. It's in the handbook under servicing. Gearbox is the same as a manual.

It's finding a Fiat garage to do it! Many funsters end up at Adams Morey Portsmouth.
