Gaslow LPG indicators stuck on empty

I just filled my gaslow system up and the pump stopped so I assumed it was full. It took 20 litres and one bottle was empty, the other nearly full. So that seemed about right as I think I have two 20 L bottles. However the bottle that was empty is still showing as empty. Is it common for the bottle indicators to stick?

As a check, I've turned the central control towards that bottle, opened the bottle, closed the other one and lit a burner on the hob and that seems to be working fine.

I had those gauges on a previous van and frankly they weren’t very reliable .

Had one in mine ,it was self emptying.

Have you tried giving a gentle tap with something hard?
I've had dial type tyre pressure gauges stick on zero. A tap on the floor gets them going.

I've tapped them with my finger but not very hard.
