Does anyone know if an 11kg bottle can be fed through the locker door. There is enough height in the locker but can it be manoeuvred in?

I am interested in this too. It's not just the height but also the width.

We have a 175 which is the same locker and yes an 11kg fitted in mine ok but I had to take the regulator off to get the bottle past it. i also took out the side cradle as it didn't fit the bottle .I also refitted in a 6kg as well plus refitted my fill point to the inside . Plus drilled a hole in the door and fitted a small circular vent that I can remove to fit through my adaptor hose for adding another bottle in Spain or morocco. Its all working fine .I made a securing cradle to fit the corners to secure the 11kg bottle out of some ply.

thanks for the comprehensive answer

I will try to send you a photo tomorrow showing the 11kg and 6kg together.

Probably no use to you, but Elddis related. I had an encore 255 and had 1x11 and 1x14 Alugas in the locker👍

photo would be great. Thanks to both of you.

Just thinking this through. Empty the locker, lift the big empty cylinder in horizontally, hold the neck and let the base sink down. Tip it upright. It's tight in there though

That's what I had to do with my 10Kg Safefill. Tilt on side and lower in. Trouble was, it precluded adding a second bottle. Rubbish design for a locker. If the hatch had been installed vertically, it would have been a whole lot easier. Typical UK manufacturer thinking - everyone has 6Kg Calors!

Couldn't you get a second 6kg calor next to it? I like to have one just in case. Not necessary in Europe but handy in UK where refilling the lpg is not so easy. I went for a 6 kg Gas-it, but afterwards realised I could probably have fitted an 11 kg.

Sorry its a bit messy but we are hooked up to a morrocan bottle at the mo..Your 11kg gaslow needs to be without the handled rim otherwise it may not fit. I did consider cutting the top of the locker to drop a bottle in but they do both fit with a jiggle around through the door plus my fill point is inside..the hole in the door is plugged with a tight fitting vent .so looks OK when there is no hose going through.

That's great, thanks. My filler is in the skirt. I'm not sure that came out right! It looks like i could go for that arrangement, assuming mine is absolutely the same size locker.

The wood at the top of the locker holds my fill point in place. I had to remove that to get the 6kg bottle from a 45 deg slide in to the vertical position. If your bottle doesn't have the top collar it will be easier.a 6kg Calor may well fit as well in place of the 6kg gaslow.

Mine is a tight fit in my 135. The orientation may seem a little strange but that’s the only one that would fit without bending the kit's hoses more savagely. The sloping “ceiling” increased the constraints - as did the regulator's outlet pipe. Yes, I use a mirror to read the gauge! I had exactly 0mm of horizontal wiggle room when cutting the hole. (If you are anywhere near Holmfirth, borrow my saw)
