Hi all,

Does anyone know if there is an easy way to add a second fill indicator gauge to a Gaslow bottle.

Currently my van has a gauge but it’s barely visible and I have no idea which way is which (I didnt build the van)

This is what I can see through the locker door.. I filled the Gaslow up today so I know it’s full )it only took 2l) so the gauge didn’t move.

It would be really useful if a second gauge could be installed in a more easy to view place.

Thanks.

Have you tried disconnecting the filling hose and pigtail, then turn the bottle so you can see the gauge and then reconnect the hoses in that orientation.. You would be surprised at what can be achieved..

Just a typical installation where the fitter hasn’t spent the time to install the cylinder in the correct orientation so the gauge can be viewed properly.
Easily sorted with a bit of extra time and care taken.

You can buy the gages direct from GasLow.
So you could buy a new one and install in a way so that you can read it.

There is also these as per Roger video below, interested if anyone has fitted them?

I’d be interested in this as well, but question how much more accurate it would be than the existing gauges? At roughly £80 per sender unit (I’d need two) it would have to be much more accurate than the standard gauges to make it worth doing.

They do a twin set

I see others have said it too, I've got the Mopeka bluetooth device on the bottom of the gaslow bottle n it works fine.

Yes, I do too, but do like the idea of this permanent wired solution, and not having to change the batteries.

Agree. I've not had to change the battery on mine yet, I think they last about 12 month (only guessing though)
