Hi everyone,

Very new to the motorhome world. We have turned the gas on at the bottle but no hobs working etc. Seems like there should be a valve inside. If anybody could help that would be great. Also the fridge makes a clicking noise when turning on then a flashing red warning light. It worked last time we used it
TIA lisa

Don't know your setup but there should be gas taps somewhere in the van. Mine are inside a drawer opening. You say it worked last time so you would know if you'd turned them off. Is the gas bottle empty?

There may also be an auto safety shut off on the regulator at the bottle. It will have a reset button, probably red. Depends what you have got.

Thanks folkranger
We've figured the hob out now thank you.
The fridge is what we've used before with no problems. It makes a clicking noise then a red light comes on. Was working fine before 🙈

Sometime a fridge takes ages to light, if I haven’t used mine for awhile then I need to hold the ignition in for at least 30 seconds before it lights.

Some times it takes time to come through the pipes

Turn on.your hob and that helps to drag the gas through

The click should stop once lit. Dose your van have to be level some fudges won't light if it's even slightly off

it can sometimes take a few goes to get the gas through when the fridge has not been used recently , the red flashing light is indicating that the gas has not lit and to turn it off then try again, it may take a few goes .

Ok thank you all, will try again tomorrow just weird how it worked before and the van hasn't moved so can't have anything to do with been level. All a learning curve for a beginner 🤣
