pressure to hob very low thought it could be empty gas cylinder put new one on stilll same suspected regulater fault as it was under warranty took it back to dealer and could not believe it was working fine any ideas why this could happen

Was you using heating or any other gas at the time?

Common first sign of reg failure is drop in pressure when more than one appliance is being used
