Gas oven problems

The hobs work fine but oven won’t stay lit when knob released.also fridge will not go on automatically on gas.could these issues be linked ,any ideas please.

Try the old trick of a bit of cardboard jammed into the inside of the hob dial spindle hole to move it away from the fascia a bit.

When you light the oven.. is the hob lid open ?

also when you light the oven, leave the door open until the knob holds in

I suggest that you would get more targeted response if you said what oven you have fitted.

Fridge & overn are seperate, is your heating working OK on gas?
If the heating is not working it's probably a faulty regulator.
If heating OK the oven is probably a faulty thermocouple.

It’s a thetford triplex 700.heating and water heater are working fine on gas as are hobs

Is there a flame playing directly on the thermocouple? Same for the fridge.

If it stays lit by pushing the knob in it is most likely a faulty thermocouple.. I recently changed one on the hob for the same problem.

Yes thanks tried these . Fridge is now ok ,it showed an error so turned off and on again is now working. But both grill and oven ignite but go out when knob released with hob lid open.
