gas bottles

excuse my ignorance but how does one go about purchasing a gas bottle, are they sold on an exchange basis with my empty one.

or do you purchase a new one and keep your old one

or do they fill up your empty one.

I noticed go outdoors are doing 3,5 kg bottles for £15, is that a good price?

hi. I pay around £23 for a 6KG bottle.thats for exchange. to buy a full bottle would be around £40 ish I imagine

We have found go outdoors to be the cheapest for calor light bottles, not know about your size. As for exchange just take your empty along hand over your money and they give you a full bottle back.

The 3.5 one will be exchange for yours if you have already got one, but the bigger ones are better value if you can fit them in ,a 6k one is about £20 and don't know about go outdoors but if you find a place that just does gas they will swop your bottle for a larger one free:thumb:

Thanks Chaps, I have two 3.5 kgs due to space restrictions so will have to stick with that size, but one is empty so will get myself down to go outdoors.
