Gas Alarm Recommendations

After our start in the motorhome world with Gas, I'm looking for a Gas alarm for piece of mind.

I've seen loads of cheap battery ones on Amazon which don't fill me with any confidence as any that I've seen from more reputable locations tend to be 12v.

This one pops up alot, which I could install next to the control panel and they have a wired sensor that could sit low down near the foot well

Has anyone got any suggestions?

Must admit never worry about it all the gas appliances have drop vents under them and if you do get a leak it's a pretty strong smell but I have fitted a CO & smoke alarms.

I’m with Lenny. Smoke and co2 should cover you well.

I had an integrated Cobra gas alarm with my security system in the last van. Quite expensive as I recall but it was good at detecting things, even if we never had a gas leak. I haven’t bothered in this van but met someone in a very old Hymer, he had recently bought, some years ago in France and he’d bought a plug in one and it detected a leak in his system, so that was great for his safety.
