Garmin Tourister 3

We have just bought the Garmin Tourister 3 but it will only recognise destinations by coordinates and not addresses. What are we doing wrong?

Unsure which one the Garmin Tourister is.
I just got the garmin that goes on pushbike and Kannon Fodda kindly explained to me to use the garmin express to set up your routes if yours is similar to mine.
if, however, it is a sat nav for the motorhome, then there might be a "button" to press to change the input
