MH
2020 Bessacarr 597

Looking to change our MH for one with a garage. Must have 4 belted seats (inc driver and left seat sat nav). Budget up to £60,000. Any suggestions on makes models greatly appreciated. Initially looking at the likes of Bessacarr 597 but not easy to find.

Just a few point to consider -
What weight have you left to fill this garage
Do you really need the garage

we have a Benimar Tessoro 486, large garage that we only fill floor level so empty in top half.
Wardrobes are above the garage and are really cold?
We live this van layout it is lovely but are we using the garage to it’s full potential no and we have very little weight as not upgraded

Any preferences for layout? I assume beds for 4 people as well? Do you want overcab, drop-downs or A-class?

Looking for fixed rear bed(double or singles and make up double in front (not over cab). Scooter, light m/cycle in garage.

Auto Trail F line F 70. Garage with a 150KG limit, belted dinette cost option, (£825 - 25kg) both driver (£1499) & Lux packs (£1399), alloys (£840) and cab blinds (£590). Wind out awning £800.

The option packs give you a fully loaded cab including a heated windscreen, 9inch screen with dab, nav, permanent camera, android etc, fog lights, auto lights and wipers, air con all the steering wheel controls for your phone, media, cruise. external BBQ, solar, carpets, omnivent extraction.

Basically everything a growing boy needs, will be around £54,500 and still give around 500kg payload.

(* denotes deduct 30kg from your payload for a dealer fit 3.5m Fiamma).

Ours out of the factory but without the dinette & awning weighed 2868kg with the 6 speed auto on the 130 bhp.

Fully loaded we can sit on the motorway at 70 @ 2000rpm with ease.

The engine upgrade to the 170, which is a beast, is £1200 and if you want the auto add another £1740.

Overall that would give you a fully loaded powerful spacious van for around £58,500.

Not sure if the garage is big enough to fit a m/cycle in?

Benimar Tessoro 483

170bhp 3500kg or paper exercise to upplate to 4000kg. Rear axle to 2250kg. Huge garage and wardrobes. Drop down bed so you don’t have to make it up every night. Honda Vision in garage. 6.7 m long.

I would ensure that whatever you ended up with it could be uprated to 4100 rather than 3850.

Bringing wine back is important.
