Good Afternoon All! I'm looking for ideas to attach/screw fixings for storage in rear garage of Motorhome, any suggestions/photos will be gratefully received. Thanks

Might depend on the construction of your motorhome but I just used screws to fix things, if I change my mind and remove the screws you can't see any holes as the walls are all carpeted and the holes just hide.

Any chance of a picture of what you’re trying to fix things too, so we can offer correct advice. 👍🏻

Here is my garage. As an example, I’ve used very different fixings for the winch into the floor, than the for the TV mounted to the roof..

Hi Carpmart. Looks good. I'm trying to post a picture of my garage but I'm afraid I'm a bit of a dinosaur when it comes to Tech. My kids will be home later, I will get help from one of them. 🙈

Fitted ours out on the back wall and elsewhere with extruded aluminium captive track - otherwise known as Unwin L or Cargo Track. It’s very versatile as the spring loaded fittings (various types available on eBay etc.) can be placed anywhere along the length, so we use elasticated straps between them to secure chairs, tables, recovery boards, etc. out of the way.

Hi Orion, I like the look of these, I've ordered some. Thanks

There are various different fittings available if you search eBay under ‘Unwin Cargo Track Fittings’ or similar. I used some of the threaded socket ones with short lengths of mate studding to mount the recovery boards to the roof of the garage using wing nuts - out of the way but accessible when needed.

Got several of those Unwin rails in my van, they allow terrific flexibility .

One tip, as the fixings are easily removable, once set up, mark the places on the rail with a marker pen where you mount your fittings.

Makes life a bit smoother next time around

I’ve just posted pics of mine on another thread, with links to the fittings. I’m not smart enough to know how to link to it, sorry, but if you click on my name you’ll find it.

Pictures attached. After reading some posts, I was thinking of fixing Marine Ply, covered in Grey felt, to the rear wall and attaching Aluminium runners with fixings.
I will need space in the middle for 2 e-bikes so still looking for ideas for the front wall of the Garage. Thanks

We have two lateral plinths in front and back of garage.

Previous owner fitted 4 vertical posts frpm plinth tops to ceiling.

These are used as anchor points for ratchet straps for heavy articles in the middle, bikes etc. and for lighter articles on plinths secured by bungees.

I saw this late last night and didn't want to appear stupid after drinking beer.( Only had three honest). But why have you got a TV facing straight down in your garage?

🤣🤪

It’s a drop down bracket and in its stowed/travel position rather than viewing position in the photo… 😉

Nothing nicer than sitting in the sun enjoying the F1 or Rugby or… 😇
