My Chinese wife is off to China July & August to see her 93 year old mum and I'm planning a fishing trip to Galicia same time, as I'm not thrilled about a 30 hour door to door trip to eastern China. Our moho is 9 metres x 5 tons and I have no knowledge of the Galicia coast or places to stay that are reasonably close to the sea. I've studied the internet for fishing licence info so am satisfied that I can get one, but where to stay? I have at least a month to enjoy myself so any info on campsites or aires would be most welcome.

Sounds like fun (y)

I don’t know Galicia well enough to help you having only stayed in Northern Spain for a week about 10 years ago.

We stayed at a campsite in Noja and given the big surf and lovely beaches it was screaming fish to me.

Have a great time.

Usual suspects, S4S, camper contact and P4N, therecare lits of places, some camper stops, some free and some campsites. We like aires at San Sebastian, Bilbao, freestop in Foz, aire/parking at Santiago, but loads out there, just go for it, we dont struggle 8.6t. So what!

Dont forget Picos Europa are on the way

Quite a lot of the coast is wild and rugged, a bit like Cornwall. I enjoyed Camping A' Vouga at Louro/Muros and Camping Gaivota at Barreios. Both sites are on the coast in great locations.
