Futuroscope aire

Has anyone recently used the Futuroscope aire as that is where we are heading at present but just seen online it's closed yet some folk say you can overnite there ...
Does anyone know please

We went past it a couple of weeks ago and it looked as if they were doing construction work on the roads around the aire on the futuroscope site.

We weren’t clear if it was open or not from what we could see as we drove through there.

We instead stopped at the free aire at Naintre ‘aire municipale des chezelles’ which is pretty near to there.

Used it before, couldn’t really see how it can be closed as its part of the car park although i suppose they could cordon it off ? This was a few years back though so may have changed.

Used it before, couldn’t really see how it can be closed as its part of the car park although i suppose they could cordon it off ? This was a few years back though so may have changed.

We used before also but last time the route was baree ..eventually after an hour in the dark we found it ...lol
There was some construction going on then...shame I'd it becomes daytime only in future ..

Relieved we don't have to travel further as its been a mixed day weather wise...sleet..hail..thunder n lightning..snow with strong winds and heavy rain ..
Remind me why we wanted a European holiday again

This Camping Car Park aire is quite close by and is excellent. We stayed there for a few nights a couple of weeks ago.

It’s a nice spot , the bin and dump point are just as you turn in but if you carry on down the track there is nice parking by a stream .

If it is shut on the opposite side of the main road through where the glass Bridge goes is the Gard du Futorscpe Station which uou get to via the roundabout Aldi's is on I've overnighter there before .

Thanks for the suggestions..stopped at the Chezzels aire at Naintre ....lovely spot shame the weather is too rough to explore ..

It’s a nice spot , the bin and dump point are just as you turn in but if you carry on down the track there is nice parking by a stream .

As the weather was very windy stayed at the top but when John walked the s he said how lovely it was further down

What a lovely aire a little gem ..

Will definitely return here ..very relaxing and quiet and free . . Heard the train 7.30 this morning but even that sounded quiet...lol

Now onwards to Spain..
