Since 2005! 2000+ nights so far...
Bought a Fulli tag for France/Spain/Portugal and ironically never used it!

When planning where to go, google maps often suggested toll routes but it assumes you drive to the speed limit. We don't often go above 90kph, never in a rush, and TomTom routing knowing this (can set max speed) seldom showed much time saving at all, and certainly the slower roads are more interesting. Yes bumpier/narrower but deffo more interesting! I was looking forward to testing the tag, but never happened :( (If you drive >100kph then the toll roads are quicker, albeit slower with more fuel stops lol)

No plans for Spain/Portugal return.

France, we've only used a couple of bits of toll ever (in many many visits).

So is Fulli "free" to keep unused, or does it need to go back and get cancelled?

You can keep it and there are no charges for non use as far as I know, I've never had any charges for non use.
Having said that, they did change their t&c last November, effective from January 2025 and they were a bit ambiguous.
The email talked of monthly charges but it wasn't clear, to me at least, which tags it applied to with my limited french.
I was just going to monitor it and see if any charges were made, non have appeared so far.
I think it's 30 euro plus postage to return the tag.
There is a thread somewhere discussing possible charges

The Bip'n'Go tags come with a €20 deposit so I guess the expectation is that they will be returned when no longer needed. Is it not the same for Fulli?

i have been considering the Fulli tag for this year and ditching the one we have just for france as we intend visitng spain and possibly portugal (via france this year), but not sure about next year.

can someone suggest which tag as there seems to be a few different ones and it seems to make sense to get the one that includes italy just in case ..? thanks

The Fulli Nomade Plus (+) tag covers France, Spain, Portugal and Italy. There are no management charges for months not used and no overall charge for it to lay dormant for up to 24 months.

A minimum charge of 2 months use after that no further charges for the. Next twelve months remember to put it in the little plastic bag to stop any signals depleting the battery

I didn't pay a deposit - and it was only €5 delivered through an offer. Their site isn't clear (to me) - seems I can just return it but its very vague!

Yes, AFAIK you must email them or write to confirm cancellation of the tag and then post it back.

If not in a hurry it’s worth keeping an eye on the Fulli website for offers - IIRC it was free delivery and no setup fee when I received ours.

Other charges including replacement etc. are shown here:

We did the very same as you are thinking about we bought a Fulli tag for France,Spain and Portugal and it is so easy to use so we ditched our Emovis tag and are sticking with Fulli😊👍
The one including Italy is not much different in price so go for it😊

I think you'll be hit with a 30 euro charge for returning the Fulli tag, but it's not altogether clear.
I think their t&c's changed in January 2025

I have used the Fulli tag quite a lot in all four countries, and it works brilliantly - no problems.

Two points to mention from previously asked questions on the forum:

-- France, Spain and Italy are quite straightforward, but Portugal has a very mixed system of toll roads. Some motorways have toll stations, but on others there is just overhead gantries with little warning. It's not a problem, the tag works fine on all toll roads and you can just go straight through the automatic booths.

-- There are some delays with charges coming through, but Fulli send monthly invoices and you pay through a direct debit system. France charges come through the quickest, Spain, probably next (a bit slower), Italy slower still, and Portugal the slowest - mine from the last Portugal trip took about 6-7 weeks.

Hope this helps (y)

The €30 charge is only made if the tag is returned in a damaged condition or not returned at all according to the (current) T&Cs. Also applies to subscription cancellations for lost or stolen tags.

Sems fair enough to me - if you cancel they want the working tag returned, otherwise you pay €30.

I’m sure I read that if you order a Fulli and don’t use it within two years, they do charge you a one-off fee. I’ve looked on the Fulli web site and I can’t find it now.
