Fuel saver offers in Spain

Following up on the reduction in general on Spanish Fuel prices, we came upon this BP offer...MI BP...up to 40 cent per litre discount on the price shown below..

Do you need a Spanish address to get these cards - when we were there last month every garage has some sort of extra discount - beyond the 25c government one. (We have a PT address if that helps)

To be honest..I don't know..
Try opening a MI BP account, I'm sure the card would be issued at point of sale....we don't have a BP station near home... just noticed this as we pulled over for a break.

I have a Mi BP card , just given one when I filled up near Girona . Was in the car on way home , so will see if I can use it in January when we return for some winter sun in the MH . Can’t come soon enough

Perhaps I miss the point but from July to September almost every garage offered large discounts, a scheme we understood, that would last a few months.

Every garage offered a discount of 20 cents, but some offered more if you had a card from them.

Anyway it's now a moot point because after midnight tomorrow it comes to an end.

Which is why I brimmed the tank on the Motorhome today.

Net price was €1.38 per litre, just under 75 litres for just over €100… felt like I’d won the lottery!

I expect a price war is imminent here in Spain...
Might use a few litres from Sunday...family return to the UK, weather is still brilliant, good time to have a mini-break..,

True...I queued yesterday, and will tank the car up this morning after I take family to Alicante Airport.....Then it's back to normal life

We topped up at repsol on the way through , put 50euros in but only paid 42 with the discount ..(.even though i kept insisting the guy should take my money )
I need to fill up when we move on monday , theres approx 3 fuel stations all together at carrefour in benicarlo and all at varying prices ....all of which are cheaper then back home so i'm happy

I filled up at Repsol on Gran Canaria yesterday. Pump price €1.32.9/lt. I paid €1.07.9/lt, so the discount was € 0.25/lt

Are the Canaries different for the discount?

Anyway our Fiat 500 hire car cost us just over €30 for fuel for2 weeks use with a lot of mountain hills and bends included.

Good idea....we are amazed how much caravanning costs compared with apartment rentals... choosing the right location is a must...

Ive left my Spanish phone in the UK, went to fill my hire car* up today and Repsol Wallet had logged me out, can't re-connect as I need a 4 digit code to reset. So don't think I will be getting my €0.30 discount a litre.

*I have a BMW X1 Diesel Automatic from RecordGo at Alicante. €160 for a week, fully inclusive comprehensive insurance. Which I think is Very Good. We do have a Spanish car, but Seguro parking Alicante have messed up the ITV arrangements. Not happy. I have recommended them so much in the past. But have major issues with them at the moment.

At one of the stops back in June .
BP stn filled up went to pay and asked what discounts ? Young lady pulled out a pad wrote whatever in Spanish and presented me with a loyalty card to be used at any BP station.
As there were better discounts elsewhere and I couldn't find if it was an added discount to that given by sp government.
It never got used again .still got it so may try next time down there
