Is there a fuel ⛽ station from Jaca to the somport tunnel as I need to fill before I hit France.
Laurie.

There are quite a few,m we’ve used the Eroski one before by the Carrefour supermarket on the roundabout as you head towards Somport. Others are on the other big roundabout heading north. Just search Google maps

Just need to fill before France then one and a half to get me to Calias.

Yes as said eroski at Jaca Carrefour is usually cheapest then there is a Repsol in vilanuea then cepsa just before the tunnel.

We preferred it to the one in town, plenty of room and easy access dump and water👍

Can I ask why would you fill up in Spain?

I have a garage in Pau selling diesel at €1.57, or am I wrong.

If you don't mind, allow me to answer...the fuel in Jaca is 1,70€ there is a government discount on this if 0.20€ per litre, making 1.50€ per litre, a substantial saving on a large tank full don't you agree...
However if bought from Repsol and pay by Waylet it's 0.30€ discount per litre...at Canfranc it's currently 1.76€ with discount it's 1.46€ .....Waylet customers, like myself are glad to receive such benefits...

Thank you for that.

The site I was, (and have used,) komparing.com doesn't display the discounts presently available and as a consequence any reasonable comparison couldn't be established. In addition the OP didn't inform us of the discounts available right now.

I note you are in Spain and have described the use of 'Waylet'
Perhaps you could explain for the masses on here, what that is and how it operates.

Getting fuel in France is also proving a bit tricksy at the moment due to the refinery strikes.

Of course I can...however last time I explained the workings of Waylet, I got nothing but negative experiences....some saying the garage didn't offer it...the eMail or mobile phone or banking details were not correct and so on...therefore for those who want to know...including yourself...just Google Waylet/ Repsol and see if you might benefit from this..

Over by the old 'Bodega' they have installed a water & dump point that was opened the day I returned.

You left out if you have a Cepsa " Porque tu Vuelve" card it entitles you to multiple disciount.
The Cepsa garage straight after tunnel on spanish side takes 35c off the days price which is 1,85€ & use of card/app gets you another 4c .if i recall correctly If you have a Carrefour card there is another 4c + pay with a master card another 2c & if you actually have a Cepsa mastercard there is another 6c? might be 8?

We are coming from the opposite direction and are just 20k on the French side of the tunnel. Many garages are closed. Some have no diesel. We have filled up when we have seen a garage with some regardless of price.
cepsa is within a couple of kms of tunnel exit & repsol a bit farther in the village of Villanua

Hi all now up at Bonneval Aire found no problems getting fuel on the way up.
Used the none toll route all the way the only garage's that I have seen with no fuel is the Total garage's.
