Fuel guage

I have a burstner marano motorhome and I've been finding the fuel gauge a bit annoying. It was showing 1/4 of a tank on the motorway, then shortly afterwards it went down to empty. Was a bit worried I wouldn't make it to fuel station. Filled it up and it only took 67 litres. According to manual has an 80 litre tank...

Older vans had earth issues sometimes helped by pulling dash forward and unplugging main dash loom behind Speedo , wait a minute and reattach.

Give the disconnect a try. Also add new or additional earth from battery to engine block and gearbox to wing it you can. Cured several electric gremlins on my old 1999 Ducato

It is working and seems pretty accurate up until the last 1/4 of a tank which seems to last about 10miles then shows empty.
