Front Suspension advice please

Hello there,

We have a Rapido 9048df 2010. We are looking to upgrade front strutts and springs to slightly raise the front of the van.
Being a complete novice any advice or recommendations you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry but can't help with the upgrade as our 2011 Rapido 7065+ is quite nose down aswell but having just spent way too long drilling out the security bolts around the fusebox and found the top mount behind it I can sympathise with any garage that is asked to fit new shock absorbers. The driver's side top mount is well hidden behind the fusebox on a coachbuilt so an A Class looks like it won't be any easier.

Fitted new and heavy duty springs to mine. Raised the front by 50mm very happy with it, and drives better too

Raising front suspension on a Ducato

Seems to be the case with most Ducato vans that the front end sits lower than the rear. I've got the Maxi chassis which has double leaf springs at the back and the difference in height between the front and rear suspension is 70mm ie on level ground the front needs to come up by that amount.
