Froli Bed System (2 Viewers)

Has anyone fitted a Froli bed system to a Ducato panel van with a slatted bed base. In particular, where the bed base can be raised to 45 degrees to enable a bicycle etc. to be carried whilst travelling?

I’ve fitted a Froli over the existing slated base on my Carthago. Also added a mattress topper.

It was too difficult to remove the slats so, using a green plastic mesh the Froli links together and sits on top.

I’ve zip tied the Froli grid at it’s edges to the slats.

Proper comfy it is !

Reckon just make two sides the same, and zip tie to each frame section so it can lift in the middle?

The mesh I used is a Froli part but it just looks like plastic fence mesh which you can buy in the DIY store.
