fridge vent fans

hi everyone, we are looking to go abroad this year for the 1st time, reading up on things i see there is a problem keeping the 3way fridges working in the heat, am i going to need install the fans that fit on the inside of the vent to expell warm air? could someone point me in the right direction as to what type if needed etc cheers chris and caryl.

If you are not a DIY'er look up Brunner or CBE fridge fans.

A lot cheaper to do it yourself using computer case fans and a temperature controller

I just used a 12v computer fan fixed behind the top vent so it extracts the heat. I picked up a 12v supply from the truma controll panel and fitted a switch. I just switch it on manually when needed. I believe it makes a good difference. You can just see the fan in the pic.
