Our fridge ,three way ocasionally causes the reich e block to overheat on longish journeys if i took the wires out nof the plug that feeds the fridge and joined them to the leisure battery feeds on the front of the block i would assume this would take the load of the block. It seems the fridge supply is the weak link on these blocks as weve had it rebuilt once when it burnt out the terminals .I would wire it direct to the leisure battery but as the feed from the block is adjacent it seems easier than rewireing to the leisure battery directthe fridge has a relay on the back which i assume allows it to use the d plus signal to enable 12v when runningso nit wouldnt draw from the leisure battery except when running

Sorry, can't help but it sounds sensible.

You would have to make sure the D+ really did control it and prevent flattening your leisure battery.
