Fridge playing up in Portugal

Our Thetford N3175 fridge decided it no longer wanted to work off mains power. I went through a frantic day trying to source a new PCB and 240v element.
By chance I asked our neighbour if they had a problem as well. The answer was yes and we have for the past 4 years we've stayed at this site. It would appear that the mains voltage drops and the fridge objects to this and turns to gas.
I'm posting this in the hope that it will save someone else the unnecessary stress and possible expense.

It gets mixed reviews. A little chaotic would probably sum it up. Even though it's cost me gas to run the fridge I'd come again, and that said having been here for more than 3 weeks.

If it happens again elsewhere it would be worth checking for an error code before replacing anything , error code 10 would indicate that the mains power supply is low.

Only been on two sites in Portugal, it’s not for us we won’t be going again. 1st site 190v. 2nd 200v so fridge on gas.
