Fridge latch - in or out

Definitely having one of those ‘memory moments’. There is a blue latch on the inside of the Therford fridge door. One way it is supposed to leave a little gap when nitro h re ridge and the other way makes sure the door is firmly closed.

I can’t remember which way is which and can’t see any discernible difference. Manual no help.

So the photo on the right is the position that supposedly airs the fridge by keeping the door ajar? Ours keeps flipping into that pósition and is a pita.

It still closes properly in both positions but in one position there are 2 clicks as you close it. First click allows looking with a slight air gap. Second closes it completely.

Thanks. I think that has been the problem because loads of condensation in the fridge today, everything wet
