I have a 2007 Autotrail Tracker EKS. Trying to use the fridge on gas but can’t get it to ignite. It clicks for about 10 seconds and then the light goes to a rapid flash.
I’ve found the isolation tap for the fridge under the cooker and have tried pulling gas through via the hob and water heater with no joy.
Can anyone assist?

When you say "tried pulling gas through via the hob and water heater with no joy" do you mean hob and water heater do not work either?
Or you've got gas to them but still not the fridge?

Has the fridge be working OK recently, so NEW issue or 1st time you've tried it.

If you dont have gas at the hob or water heater then i would suspect the gas regulator or even check the bottle.

I have gas to all other appliances but when I turn the fridge dial to gas setting I can hear it clicking for about 10-15 seconds then the ticking stops and the light goes to a rapid flash. I’ve never used the fridge on gas before but don’t know about the previous owner.

I have gas to all other appliances.

It was this bit that confused me. " tried pulling gas through via the hob and water heater with no joy."

So the hob and water heater ARE working and lighting.. (y)

Maybe get someone to try the fridge while you are outside, remove the fridge vent cover and check if it's getting a spark or any attempt to light.

I can hear the igniter clicking but am assuming gas isn’t getting through? I have gas to all other appliances.

Thanks all… Problem solved! Found a suggestion on the web that I should find the gas valve behind the external cover and while the fridge is trying to ignite, give it a “knock” with something solid! It worked!

Sounded like your gas jet was blocked and knocking it has dislodged some
rubbish. Best to clean it out with a can of compressed air or similar Before it happens again.

I put that 'fix' on here a few years ago....give the gas solenoid valve a knock, they have a tendency to stick if the fridge has not been used on gas for a while.

Glad you're sorted.

Allen

Different problem altogether.
The gas valve is prone to sticking, lpg contains heavy ends (oily residue) and the solenoid valve sticks especially when not used frequently.
I have special manual solenoid opening magnets in the workshop 👍
